"Flu Remedies - natural ways to fight Flu."

General Recommendations

  • With first symptoms of flu you have to sweat a lot so the flu virus would leave your body with sweat. Thus, drink a hot raspberry tea (simply mix two tea spoons of hot boiled water with raspberry jam) or small leaved linden tea. After that go to bed and cover yourself with blanket so you would be very warm.
  • Stay in warmth all the time.
  • Stay in bed for a day or two; Your body needs to regenerate and heal from flu.
  • Take fever reducers if fever is too high and vitamin C.
  • Gargle and rinse your throat with solution of manganese. (Just few little crystals of manganese mix it in water).
  • Suck on a slice of lemon every 2 hours (for approx. 1 hour) then eat it.
  • If your throat hurts, put on your throat the leaf of fresh cabbage and rap your throat with the wool scarf. Change the cabbage leaf every 3 hours.

Choose one or few of the flu remedies, stated below and do them extensively:

Flu Remedy #1: Runny Nose Remedy

Take 1 table spoon of onion juice every 2-3 hours. Also, put inside of your nose pieces of cotton with mashed onion or garlic on them. I know it's kind of disgusting, but it really works. Garlic or onion disinfects flu bacteria in our breathing paths.

Flu Remedy #2: Fever Reducer Remedy

Fill up a regular or plastic tub, or foot tub with icy cold water just above your ankles. Put your feet in there. Stand for 40 seconds to 1 minute, not more not less. If it's too cold, you can trample while you are standing. This simple remedy will reduce your fever one of the flu symptoms. Then without wiping off your feet put on wool socks or very thick sucks. (If you don't have wool socks, put two pairs of any socks.)

Flu Remedy #3: Calendula Remedy

Calendula (Lath: Pot Marigold) decoction: 1 table spoon of calendula and 1 glass of boiling water. Brew for 10 minutes. Drink 2 table spoons 3 times a day. Calendula is known for its healing, antiseptic, and detoxifying power. This herbal remedy can certainly help you with your flu.

Flu Remedy#4: Honey & Aloe Remedy

Ingredients: honey-500grams (17.5 ounces), aloe juice-150 ml. (5 ounces), chocolate-100 grams (3.5 ounces), butter 200 grams ( 7 ounces). Mix everything. Intake dosage - 1 table spoon 3 times a day.

Flu Remedy#5: Inhalation Remedy (for flu, cough, and cold)

This is one of the most effective flu remedies that helps you to clear your breathing paths even if you cough or have a runny nose, cure your throat or other flu symptoms. By the way, I suggested this remedy to one of my friends, and she told me that besides a healing effect, it also made the skin on her face so soft and even, she added, "like baby's butt..." So, ladies, this inhalation remedy has a double effect: for your health and your beauty.

Remember!!! You can do this flu remedy only when you don't have fever. Otherwise it is not healthy for your body and heart.

Take the small to medium pot, fill it up with water (4 glasses - 1 liter), and boil it. Once you see that it's boiling, put 1 table spoon of each of the following herbs: calendula, eucalyptus, chamomile, and mint, and close it with a lid. Also make the "fire" on a stove smaller and let the pot boil for a few minutes (3-4 minutes). Put it on the table, open the lid and let the hottest steam to come out, so you wouldn't burn your face.

Next, take a big towel, and put it over your head so it would also cover the pot. Make sure you don't have any open spaces so the hot air could not come out and the cold one couldn't come in. Underneath of the towel place your head over the pot and start breathing. Inhale through the mouth, exhale through the nose.

First, you will start coughing, but it's normal. Do not uncover yourself. Take enough tissues to blow your nose and wipe off the sweat. If it's too hot for you, move your face away from the pot and wait few seconds, however the steam should be hot, in order to have the effect on your flu symptoms.

Breathe deeply until the steam becomes warm or it disappears. After that, get up, but DO NOT TAKE THE TOWEL OFF YOUR HEAD or FACE. Ask someone to lead you to the sofa or bed and lie down for few minutes, and breathe with that warm air underneath of a towel until it gets cold enough to uncover your face. If you take off the towel too soon, cold air will get in, having a zero effect on your flu symptoms. By the way this pot with herbs you can use for two days. You can do this flu remedy as many times as you need.
The more you do this remedy, the faster you will eliminate cold, bronchitis, cough, runny nose and other flu symptoms .
